So the doujin is a direct to dollar, minus translating and hosting, to the artist? That's pretty good!

sortof not all doujin are translated by fakku but by the artist or the people the artist works with
i would guess fakku will take a cut like
if you were toi selling something on ebay

In regards to the doujinshi, they're published by someone (for example Irodori), who gets the files from the original artist, translates them, typesets them, and QCs them, then they're sold (on Fakku in terms of this conversation). Fakku also publishes some doujinshi, the most recent one being Nishizumi Sisters Assault 2, and with that we worked directly with Kyockcho, so obviously they're getting paid. The majority of the doujinshi on the site are published by other companies, namely Irodori Comics and 2D Market though.
