I'm Anthrandawn, and I've been browsing the forums for quite some time now. I finally decided to make an account, and here I am. I've been a fan of anime/manga for a very long time, but my friends don't really share that interest with me. I can kinda relate to thepart where your friends not sharing the same interests but there's nothing you can do about it except for having friends who'd have similar interests. Live strong with your interests, it doesn't matter if no one IRL shares your interests. And besides, you got us to talk about anime on the 'General Discussion' forums.
