Hello to a Very Impressive Online Community
0
The only type of community I ever seem to find myself a part of, ^__^'
But yeahs, from the looks of it, this place is really active and full of members. Normally I don't post in the forums of sites I go to, but after looking at the introductory posts of several other new members, I feel pretty confident in a warm welcome? Not that confident, mind you. I'm a rather fearful person to begin with, mhms. But still, it all looks really inviting. Not to mention the added incentive of that ingenious rep system with its bragging rights and whatnot. As a casual RPG player I always appreciate a nice advancement system.
Because I like to talk about myse- I mean. Uhm. Because you want to know something about me? Nah, that doesn't work either... But regardless, I want tell you that I've been struggling with hentai for a long while now. Since I first found it, I've never been able to stay away for more than a year. I can't say I'm proud to be an avid hentai reader, and at heart I'm not sure I am. More of a casual, the same way I treat my Role-playing games.
Fakku has been foiling my attempts at being 'virtuous' at various intervals along the course of the past few months. I guess it's time to give in, yeahs. I'm not sure what creating an account here on this very impressive and welcoming site's community will do for me and my conflicted feelings about 'certain subject matter'. Boy, I can't even bring myself to type the word hentai too frequently, now can I? Anyways, I'll see where this goes. Maybe I'll learn to accept the addiction to hentai that I feel alienates me from some parts of my physical world community and serves to further impact my inability to socialize with others in a cool and regular manner. Or maybe I'll end up disappearing somewhere down the road and become the virtuous monk I've always idealized. Either way, props to everyone here, you all seem like great people, as far as I've seen browsing other people's threads.
(yeah, I'm a creeper. probably the main factor in my lack of interaction with the outside world. By the way, thanks in advance to anyone who posts a reply. I've got to go finish a few essays and write up my stories for the newspaper. I'll check in later tonight. ^_______^)

Welcome!
Ya know, I actually understand. I think we all struggle with it from time to time. At least I know I do. lol
But I like to look at it this way. If I'm gonna be looking at that stuff, Fakku is almost a public service. It keeps me more upright than otherwise. Outside of this place, I have to stroll through someone else's collections, sometimes several at a time, never knowing what I'm actually gonna have to click on or view before I get what I am looking for.
But here? Loli is super rare, (cuz the only loli up is from before the rule against it was handed down) and I don't have to put up with anything really strange. Everything has a thread, so if I don't like it, I can avoid it. If it's especially twisted, I can avoid that too. So my mind stays intact and I move on.
And something a lot of people tend to forget? Fakku isn't ALL hentai. Really, a lot of it is of course, but there are threads in this place for anything. The other day I made something to eat based on a recipe I found here. So fear not, you can still come here for reasons other than giving in to certain urges.

Haha - loved your post and welcome to Fakku.
In responce to some of the thing you wrote, I do feel sometimes a bit guilty of speeding so much time on a hentai site, but like Maholix said, Fakku is more than just a porn site. Its more of a community really, at least when you get into it. I mean I came here for the porn (I think we all did), but I stayed for the forums. People are friendly (IB is the exception to everything though) and happy to help.
Not only on top of discussing the latest anime episodes and manga chapters, as well as getting some newly translated doujinshi, there are also great Special Interest Forums. I got several of my now favourite bands recommended to me in the Music forum, I got recommended several great TV-shows in the Entertainment forum and the people in the Computer and Technology are always great helps (they dont take kindly to fools though). I regularily enter contests in the Food and Cooking forum and read other users work in the Writing and Lemons forum (and occasionally adding some writings myself). And seeing as you like RPGs (good taste there I see), you should check out the relevant forums. But dont take my word for it, go out and explore it yourself and enjoy yourself :)

Exactly! I could not have said it better myself. :)
There is so much more to do. Fakku has a way of drawing you in and not letting go. lol, I'd never tell you to give up and accept it, but I will say it may save you time.
And if stop by the chat forums sometime, and I'll be sure to help ya fit in. As you saw, many of us are welcoming here, and we like making new friends. :D

Fu, tiring day.
But, oh yeah, thank you all for welcoming me here. I appreciate it, tons.
All the advice you guys have given me on where to go from here is great too. In fact there's so much of it, I can't really... choose, exactly... Indecisiveness, quite the curse.
Anyways. Making new friends sounds inviting, so maybe I'll swing by the chat forums sometime soon. Right now I just want to get some rest. I'm not fit enough to be pulling so many all-nighters, fufufu...

Blocks of texts (in that size) seem quite uncommon in the meet and greet section, so seeing this is refreshing in a sense.
Welcome, and may you enjoy your stay.

Aha, yeahs Animehot2. That’d probably make things less complicated.
Also, I’m glad you liked my post Zafhner. I usually put the large blocks of text into †˜about me’ sections on my profile, but I don’t think Fakku has anything like that. Thanks for the welcome too.
Hopped right over the 666 posts mark, right GroverCleaveland? Any number of posts around that amount is enough to grab my attention. Thanks for your welcome too, I’ll make sure to stay out of the IB forums. If any other forum sections are less than savvy, hopefully I’ll be able to understand and steer clear myself. Otherwise, I think that’d equate to me being rather mindless in addition to those on the forums that I’m supposed to be watching out for. If that makes any sense... I often don’t… >__<
Okay then. Time to start branching out I think. Lots of suggestions here. I looked into the writing section and saw your topic on how to improve as a writer, GroverCleaveland. Very inspiring. I’ve always enjoyed reading, and my imagination gets out of hand sometimes. I’ve tried writing on more than a few occasions, to see if I could focus that active imagination of mine. Never finished anything though. Maybe I’ll try again here…?
*On a side note, I met a Grover a while back on another forum site. He was rather incoherent and babbling himself. After looking at some of your posts, I’m glad to say I can’t imagine there being any correlation between the two of you, GroverCleaveland. Indeed, I’m pretty sure you’re a lot more mature than me. Not that that's... saying very much. Either way, very impressive, ^____^'.

Welcome to fakku, I hope you enjoy your stay Regal!
It seems that you were very nervous or unsure of yourself when you wrote the post? Seems like it, well, everyone goes through that, I hope you'll get over it, or did you~?
