How you folks doing? Been registered for a while here, but never bothered to post much. Just sort of benefited from the community I guess.
BUT. That changes now. SO, an introduction is in order. As my username implies, the name (Lulz) is Ryouga, and I'm a freelance film journalist/translator (Japanese to English, vice versa). Fresh out of college, I'll be moving to Japan at the end of July to work as an English teacher for the next 4-5 years. I'll still be writing articles and translating of course while that goes on.

Definitely dude. There are a ton of programs and tons of ways to get over there. You just gotta push hard enough and eventually the doors open. The pay is pretty damn good too.

A friend of mine moved from Australia to Japan, pretty risky move if I might say so myself, as it seemed to be a random stab in the dark for him.
Language teacher sounds appealing to me, as I can speak 3 languages including Japanese (though English isn't my first language, but I can manage). So I guess I'll be fine lol

Hey I guess I'm the same as you I've been here for a while but i dont really post alot. lol oh well. Good luck with teaching in Japan my friend is an English teacher over there and she loves it. And as soon as the end of the year rolls around I'm moving there as well.

Hey, here, that's probably a good thing. Have fun in Japan, but I hear even through all their weird policies, they still have anti-stalking laws. Don't worry, it's only illegal if you get caught.
