Figure Selection in the Fakku Store

I've been wondering about how Fakku selects which figures to sell in the store. Like, what is the process? I mainly ask because sometimes I see ero-figures become available for pre-order elsewhere but they never show up in the Fakku store.

For example, the "Dancing Girl "Lin Feng" 1/4 Scale Figure" that you recently put up in the Fakku store became available in the Native Online Shop after the "October 31st Witch: Miss Orangette" figure was made available for pre-order on the Native Online Shop, so I find it odd that the "October 31st Witch: Miss Orangette" figure isn't currently available in the Fakku store especially since it's a figure that's actually made by Native (I thought at a past AX you guys had said you were partnering up with Native when Fakku first started selling figures).

I've also seen figures from one of my favorite ero-figure manufacturers (Skytube) come and go without ever showing up in the Fakku store. I missed out on a few from Skytube that came out last year that I really would've liked to have gotten. Even now, I see some Skytube figures that are available elsewhere (either currently in-stock or available for pre-order) that are not on the Fakku store.

I get emails from our distributor every day that contain new figures we can list, along with their information.

I pass on listing re-colors typically unless it's an important re-color. If it's a figure that ties into any artist we work with they get listed pretty quickly. If customers reach out to us via the support tickets, asking for a specific figure typically I'll throw that up there if it's PO date hasn't passed.

It honestly kinda just depends really on a few things like if I think the figure will move quickly or not which is dependent on a few things like who makes it, how big it is vs the pricing, if it's from anything popular, if we have enough warehouse space to even store the figures, etc. I try to only list figures that I think will move fast as I don't wanna bog down our warehouse team with figures just sitting around not moving.

There have been times where we don't have the ability to order a specific figure or it's limited edition variant, simply because the distributor hasn't been given the okay to sell it to merchants. So in those situations we can't do much sadly.

Other than that, I try to list as many as I can, but there are some rare cases where I miss one or two due to being busy on other work. And again, I try to not overwhelm our warehouse team with it, cuz figure shipments take up a lot of space in the warehouse compared to books and shirts.

Thank you for the insight.

I guess working with a distributor rather than directly with Native explains why some figures that show up in the Native Online Shop don't appear in the Fakku store, although I had thought Fakku had announced they were partnering up with Native that one year at AX (the year Fakku had the Native figures on display in the booth and was selling the one Native figure as well).

Also, I guess I may be a bit biased, but I thought that those figures I had missed out on (Tony Taka based ero-figures from Skytube) would've been the type that would fall under the category of being able to generate interest/move quickly. I suppose that they could've just been overlooked at the time as well.
