The most frightening thing that happened in your life?

Always wanted to ask the community this for some reason.

When I saw a rosebud video for the very first time.

three close calls for first place, no particular order
almost drowned in a river when i was like, 6, still remember it, still scares the shit out of me, only reason i didnt die is my dad pulled me out.

was in the city, walking to my car from a concert, and a guy with a gun came out of a side street, started yelling at me, than ran away.

got caught with porn when i was in highschool, my mom yelled at me, and my dad just laughed.

I have really bad arachnophobia (fear of spiders) and well falling asleep on a bus in 4th grade then wakeing up with on of those big, nasty, bastards on my chest made me lose all masculinity in less then half a second. Still have nightmares...

Been robbed at gun point twice

Also wasn't frightening but was just crazy. When a friend at work was shot and killed while he was out on a delivery.

First ever instance of my immunodeficiency acting up when I was 10. Got really sick at school, coughed blood and had to have the ambulance called. Almost died, can't really describe in words just how terrifying it is when you're that young and have a near-death experience.

Almost drowning in a swimming pool when I was a kid. Up until now I'm afraid of pools.

Similar event. My friend was stabbed to death when he was working at his family deli. Never ceases to amaze me how someone can kill so easily.

When i was young and cute, one day i decided to wake up and go to the living room, was all dizzy and stuff so i wasnt paying much attention but there was a toothpick on the ground... since i woke up i didnt put my socks/sandals on and stepped on the toothpick. I didnt know WHY there was a toothpick on the ground but since that moment i've been scared of toothpicks.

remembered one more thing, i was in a 7-11, and like, two minutes after i left it got robbed, close call.

I was stabbed in my right arm by a mugger. Yes, I pressed charges, yes, he's still in prison. I needed only 11 stitches, so I guess you could say I was lucky.

Its a tie between getting hit by a car when I was seven, and finding out I have a mental illness.

You have an illness? Sorry, but you don't seem like you do.

I died twice on route to the hospital and woke up 2 week later and couldn't remember how to talk or walk. This is before my latest term at the hotel del hell where the room service sucks mexican balls.

I have a bunch, but I'll list three random ones:

1 - Catching my brother-in-law and sister bumping uglies when I was 11.

Also didn't help the fact that I could hear my sister's moans while I watched porn on the computer in the living room, which was a couple of feet away. I've mostly gotten over it now, but I hear the moans every now and again.

2 - Car Accident

This one scared me shitless. And the fact that my dad and I were nearly in a front end crash minutes prior didn't make the shock any better.

3 - Break-in

Someone broke into the backyard and stole a bunch of stuff out of my cousin's van and almost broke into the garage, until may dad and I scarred them off with our guns. It was the fist time I was literally close to killing someone.

1. Back in 2011 things weren't going too well for me both mentally and physically. I was dealing with depression and coupled with the fact that I wasn't eating properly eventually led to me collapsing in the middle of the road on my bike. My vision was getting blurry and I couldn't see the traffic lights in front of me. After weakly pedaling forward on my bike for a few feet I fell off the bike and if it wasn't for a guy nearby I would've been run over by a car.

2. Lost my passport in an airport. I was on a flight from Incheon, Korea to Hong Kong and after I got off the plane I went to the toilet to take a dump. Apparently I dropped my passport in the toilet then and there; I didn't even notice my loss until I came before the customs officers. I started panicking until I got a friggin panic attack. That happened when I was barely 14 and it was my first time flying alone.

1- Sleep paralysis. That shit ain't funny.


2- Being followed on the road at night. At the time I was taking a ride with this person who may have been involved in some questionable business. I honestly thought of offing myself in case of torture.

You to? Damn, last night I had to force myself to wake up by wiggling my toe like a mad man.
