I really don't understand your question. It might be better if you reread what you last said and correct the rest of your post.

I tried my best editing,really,its hard to convey what i really want to mean through english because i'm not really fluent yet.

I believe that it depends on two things: how terribly wrong the action was and the person that was done wrong.

If ignoring means total isolation from friends and relatives, like in the doujin, the reasons for that should be most grave. After all man is a social animal and if his fellowmen refuse to socialize with him I personally view it as harsh (if not harsher) a punishment as death sentence.

Western rather individual centric values (upon which most (?) of us base our morals) frown such harsh punishments by default with some exceptions like crimes violating the very core of someone's individual freedom (murder, rape etc.). In the Far East, where group is usually regarded more important than individual, isolating one from society to uphold the status quo isn't actually that rare.

But in all seriousness, that doujin had ace writing, I actually FELT for the characters.
But definitely not something to fap to.


In response to the original question : all humans makes mistakes.

Ignoring said person is to make the person feel guilty.

But ignoring a person for too long is obviously delusional.

But the sad truth is, everyone makes mistakes. It's something we all have to live by and give people credit for, leeway for, a thought for.

@Ghoullord - Yes,the most suitable word for my 'ignore and hate' would be 'isolation' in reference to the manga,does she even deserve the treatment just for being one who holds a passion towards games[i know she has attitude problems], and definitely i think she only needs 'life counseling' than punishment as such since she's still immature and has lots to learn,but her family just 'gave up' on her. It makes me wonder how cruel could human can be

@Twillusion - Yes I feel like killing myself for reading too,and the characters really touched me. Why do people think that a punishment is suitable for someone who made mistakes in spite that they're still teenager,tipping them off should do better than 'ignoring',and that might even cause negative effects even trauma to said individual.'Everyone makes mistakes' so why wouldn't they give people a second chance?

But yeah, in your example: I suppose it depends on the severity of the rumours really.. I suppose in some sense it would be ok, but to ignore them to such a point where they become exhibitionists, that's a bit over the top.. I couldn't ignore somebody for that long.. but i suppose in the case you're referring to, the girls did pretty much ruin his life, and make all those he 'loved' run away... but having said that, he also did get greedy.. so y'know, it's his fault more than theirs.. so in that case, i wouldn't really ignore them for long enough to allow them to become sex slaves etc.
