A Hidden Side?

Recently, I've been spending time with a friend of mine who has called me out to dinner, a movie and to chit chat once or twice a week. One thing about her is that she's definitely a person who isn't afraid to speak her mind and has come across as snobby, arrogant and rude...even to alot of her friends. She also has what others would call a bit of a "badass" side to her personality. The strange thing is, whenever she hangs around with me, she shows a soft and gentle side that no one else knows about and that no one else would believe is there. She has her moments of road rage and profanity but I have observed how she behaves to all of her friends but it seems I see a side of her that is rarely if ever seen by anyone else.

Is it a matter of being comfortable with your friends or being reserved until you really get to know someone that you show more of yourself when it comes to character and personality?

Could be both, one or another or even none.

A. She likes you as a real friend.
B. She like you as a potental man of the night. BF/GF or booty call.
C. just a bitch to other but like you has a companion.
D. TSUN TSUN MODE ACTIVATED.
E. She just Bi-polar.
Or F. She just like every other woman and has her mood swings and nice periods... no pun intended.

She probably likes you and wants to impress you. I'd go out of my way and see if you can start a relationship with her.

She must see something in you that makes her think that she can be gentle and almost her real self to you. This is, of course, provided that here dere-dere side IS her real self. :P

See how it lays out, and observe for a little more. If it turns out that she only shows this side to you, and no one else, talk it out with her alone and casually ask her if she thinks you're so special that she's like that only to you.

lmao....it sounds like homegirl is a bitch, oh yea sure she has "spells" of kindness and gentleness while she goes out on yall little dates, but when that new car smell on the relationship wears off guess which side your gonna be stuck with?...the bitch.

It could be that she feels more comfortable around you, or the other way around. She feels more comfortable with the people she is arrogant and rude etc. to, and she's just trying to impress you. You never know with women...
But! It could be that she's actually trying to match her personality to the people around her. Like...act differently depending on who she's with and all that. Though it's probably okay to assume that she isn't faking the soft and gentle side of her.

To me it sounds like this woman likes you. I do sorta the same thing with the person I'm smitten with when it comes down to the two of us being alone.

I do the same. Normally I am rough and blunt, but become "soft" around the dude I like.

I've given this some thought, and I can't seem to come up with an answer other than "She likes you." Because if she is in fact being genuine when she shows you her soft side, than it implies she trusts you enough for that to happen. If she's not being genuine, and is acting that way around just you... then she's obviously trying to make herself appear more likeable. AKA: She likes you. There is a small but significant chance that her feelings for you are platonic, and this is just a "You're such a good friend, I can be myself around you" deal, but I don't really think that's the case, especially if you are a guy. Badass girls are [size=9][usually][/h] only nice to guys they love/like/want to hump.
