Adding the Approved Hosting Sites

So, ever since MU got shot down, we were only left with Mediafire and obscure hosting sites. I'm thinking of adding new hosting sites.
I'm honestly clueless about other hosting sites except the bad ones.

So, can the community here please post hosting sites that you think can be trusted with the least restrictions that we can have. This is for the Upload section's sake so post seriously please.

Minus allows zip. rar and exe.
Jumbofile work nicely but like MF.. they controlled by the C&D fear mongers.
Rapidgator is good.. but you can get paid like DF and the old dead hosts.
Bayfiles.. i never used.
Sendspace.. meh.
asfile... not sure i seen in on some sites.

Only shit host is rapidshare and bitshare. I do think maybe a coder or someone could make a private tracker for fakku torrents.. or DHT it. I think a torrent option maybe the best way to go.

4shared is good for mp3 and video...20 sec download time for free with high download speeds. Maybe with more ads than other sites.
Uploaded is like minus..

Could you elaborate all the specs of Minus? the positives Negatives?



4shared is littered with ads so it's an automatic no. And we don't deal with single uploads.

Pros: Free, you can use it anon, Image share site with the ability to host zip, rar, exe files. Easy to use. You can host the doujin file and thumbnail/post a cover on the same site, Also has friends list and feed.
Cons: 50 gb free limit, do delete files if C&D.

Does it have any waiting time before downloading? Does it have long waiting time in between downloads?

Will it run in full speed or chopped down?

Downloads for me at 80% of this computers dl speed but at home i have 120k/s dl and it dl at 110k/s 90 5 of the time. Uploader is fast.

Minus is scrapped, it now only accepts Image uploads. Anything else is an abuse of their TOS.

Hmmm, what about Adrive.com? Looks pretty legit. 2gb file size upload limit and 50gb max. Going to try it out.

Uploading at about 200 KB/s ..... sooo goddamn slow. Yeah, just really slow for me. I'd rather deal with re-uploading and having my files deleted on MF than that site.

Lol an upload speed of 200KB/s is a godsend for me, How would you compare it to your standard usual?

I don't see a potential link spamming, since it's an Affiliate program. So it's just banner spamming...lol

Mediafire uploads about 1-1.4 Mbs for me. Uhh download, didn't bother waiting for the file to finish uploading. Going to try a smaller file.

EDIT: 10 MB file upload in a 7z password locked file, 200 Kbs up, 150 Kbs down. Problem is there is an expiration date on the file on the 5th of December. So, 20 days. Again, mediafire I get like 1-1.4 down speed/upspeed. I have a 18 Mbs connection.

Sucks, can't find a decent storage site without expiration dates.

zippyshare seem like mediafire without the cockknockers. I haven't upload anything yet but dl tons of hentai from hell stuff using it. I don't think they use a pay system.

A "good DL Speed" for example, What is considered a "good" DL speed

I haven't really tried uploading on it ( actually, i've never uploaded anything anywhere before cause i'm using an HSDPA connection which sucks on uploads) so I can't say much about the upload speed.

pros:
+good dl-speed (I got 280-320kb/s on my 3mbps conn.)
+has multi-upload feature (limited to 100mb per file though/200mb on single uploads)
+supports resuming of downloads
+no waiting time
+no download limits

cons:
-limited to 200mb per file(100mb if you're using the multi-uploaded).
