One thing is power, but I do not believe that it can stay cool enough to utilize that power under normal circumstances.
Think about the screen size, 11 inches, when ever you actually want to use all that power for anything useful (gaming or otherwise) you will need an external screen.
The last thing is the battery, they mention 6.5 hours of battery "outside gaming" which pretty much means when not using the graphics card in any way, which is near impossible with Vista/Win7.

Terrible. What a waste of money.
I'd rather build myself a decent workstation for gaming and get a cheap, lightweight netbook for mobile tasks.

That only 1 degree warmer is probably an idle figure.
Try putting it through a long session of gaming and it'll heat up.
Anyway it looks like a good alternative to a desktop if you live the nomadic lifestyle of a student or overseas working expat so long as you don't mind carting a 2 kg laptop around.

The SU4100 gets a 1149 on the CPU test on 3DMark 06.
The SU7300 gets a 1163 on the CPU test on 3Dmark 06.
All the SU7300 gets is a 3mb cache and support for Intel VT technology, meaning it can run virtual OS's. It is useful if you emulate Windows in Linux or vice-versa. If I am not mistaken, if you don't have Intel VT you can't emulate old N64/XBOX/Playstation games on you laptop.

Personally I wouldn't go for this laptop, it is too much money for something this underpowered. It only scores a 6462 points on 3Dmark 06 and you are nearly paying over $1000 for the midrange model. Laptops $100~300 cheaper get 3Dmark 06 at around 9521 points (AKA Asus G50-X1), the only sacrifice would be battery life.
