Ancient....

Alright. So my laptop may be a little old.... And by a little a mean it's a Dell latitude that can only run Windows 98 SE. So this thing is ancient. Any ideas on how to (hopefully....) make the running speed a lil better?
Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

After doing some research I have found that while Windows 98 has a RAM limit of about 2GBs, Microsoft has admitted there are problems with putting more than 512 MB of RAM on a Windows 98 machine. This page has more details on what I was talking about. Simply stated, if you try putting more RAM it might not actually help your performance. In all honesty, you're better off upgrading to a modern machine. And by modern I mean with an operating system released within the last ten years.

If it's too slow you should be saving your beans for a new laptop. No amount of ram will make the laptop run faster.
