Anyone ever dated someone from FAKKU?

Aki's actually right. You'd be surprised of the many different people you could meet if you just take some time to write a PM to say hi, and chat up on interests.

Most important thing to remember is, not to treat the site like it's a hook-up place, or think that you can score with just anyone. Take your time to any and every user you find interesting and see if you guys even click as friends. You're already making an effort to know and get attached to more people if you do so, so eventually, someone that tickles your fancy may come your way before you realize it.

I'm not sure if your suggestion for a dating section was serious or not, though. :P

I never felt uncomfortable about dating people from Fakku, honestly. I believe internet dating is becoming more and more common, even for attractive/educated/fully capable people with less time. I think even in 5 years, it will become a huge thing, considering people seem to have less and less time. It wouldn't be absurd to talk about a meeting on a forum.

As an Asian girl in a strict Asian household (I'm first generation, also), and being very young, I even explained to my mother that my boyfriend works for a hentai site. Then again, it's not bad because I met Waar in a convention, first. She didn't take it great but it actually went better than expected.

Concerning a dating portion of Fakku, I think that's a great idea. I think a lot of people on Fakku struggle initiating a conversation in real life (I'm not even trying to be a dick). I personally do, so I say that. Since we already have something all in common (Hentai) I think it'd be a great opener! They can have an introduction post stating like. A favorite hentai/manga/doujin and anime or something. Something that makes Fakku dating different then OkCupid or something by embracing what we're all here for. It'd also be vital to have a location thing... Because a lot of people here come from different countries (if they're interested in serious dating, it'd be a little complicated!).

Fakku is the first community I ever got into besides WoW and facebook(rarely because for family use...) :\

Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't aware you already posted in this thread. I only looked at the first page, saw Anesthetize's comment, realized it's an outdated fact and pointed it out.

I didn't bother reading through the whole thread so forgive me if you already mentioned it somewhere before.

Why is my relationship status being discussed on the forums? Go about your daily lives without getting involved with mine. Someone asked if anyone has ever dated others from Fakku, I answered; nothing else needs to be said.

My issue wasn't with if my relationship was clarified or not, rather the fact you had to show off you were friends with Paul on Facebook. What does that matter? And note Paul's comment above me.

I'm not his friend on FB. His page happened to be on the "Recommend Friends" on the right because I'm friends with Jake. I clicked it out of interest and saw this.

I assume his profile is public anyway, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to see it. Thus, I thought posting that here was OK because he himself acknowledged it was. If I were his friend, and I saw this I wouldn't have posted it here because I wouldn't know if his page is private or not. Obviously, I respect one's privacy and out of respect I even removed his last name from the screenshot.

If he is offended I can remove the entire comment right away. I mean no malice in my actions. Again, since I saw his page I assumed his page and relationship status was public.

My profile is only visible to friends and friends of friends, the Fakku community does not need to know about my relationship status. Focus on your own life, I am no celebrity.

OK, this is entirely my fault. I truly thought your profile was public and you intended for your information to be publicly accessible. I wasn't aware there was a setting so that your profile can be visible to friends of friends, yet not available to the public.

I have removed the screenshots, and I'm very sorry for what I've done. In case you think I'm being sarcastic, I'm not. I'm fully aware of the severity behind my actions, the fact that I compromised your privacy, and I ask for your forgiveness. You don't have to forgive me, but it's my duty to apologize anyway.

Can iMoloko remove the images from the quotes too? I understand it is due to my actions that you have to go through such inconveniences, but it's not just for my sake.

It's fine, it's really not that big of a deal, just avoid doing things like that in the future.
