Audiophile Technology (hi-fi
0
I began my interest in audiophile technology about 2 years ago as a senior in high school. My Korean-Chinese friend showed me a pair of Denon D5000s driven from a Sony player (the name of it escapes me). I had never heard non-live music played so crisply and beautifully in my life; it was like a breathe of fresh air from the muddy and cumbersome sound I'd been hearing from my $50 Sennheisers. Thus began my quest to achieve the highest quality sound for the best price because I'm not a millionaire yet (HA).
I have the following gears
I'm really dumb with this image forum stuff... sorry.
The gears are from left to right, Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250 ohm, HiFiMan HE-400, and Audiotechnica AD 700.
It's really good for listening to anime music, because the production value on a lot of j-pop tracks is flawless.

Great to see a hi-fi thread here! My gear is limited to a pioneer vsx-815 receiver, a pair of polk r150s, an srh 550dj, and my v-moda m100. Have you listened to the HD600s? If yes, how do the HE4s compare to them?

I just use my logitech z4 speakers. They sound perfect for me.
All my sound money goes towards my car stereo, which is:
Alpine cda-117e
Rockford t2 splits
Rockford power1000 special edition 5chan amp
Shok industries 12" sub in a sealed box
I haven't put them all together properly yet, but everything but the splits were in my old car, and it was amazing. The new splits are a lot less harsh, too. which is awesome

I have an AKG K240 for sound and Deltaco HL-56 as a mic. Need to get another mic..
As for stereo I have an Yamaha RX-V420. I have two Genexxa GX 1000 stone front speakers, a Centrum Jupiter 200 as subwoof and tre others speakers that came with the stereo.
I know they are outdated but boy can they play loud.
