Avatar & Signature Requests

Hello Fakku! community members,
When I'm bored I usually like making signatures and avatars for the communities I frequent. I also take other requests like thread & contest banners but you should PM me for those. The only requirement is that you make your request in this thread (No PMs) and fill me in on what you want.
How to request:
Generally it's best if you at least include what kind of foreground and background colours you want, along with the mood, style and whether or not to include certain texts like your name or a quote or perhaps a certain character.
What to expect:
I'm not the most amazing graphic artist out there when it comes to signatures, most of my experience deals with website design. So, if you're looking for the best in show you might want to look elsewhere. There's a couple examples of my work in the spoiler below, stuff that isn't being used anymore, and of course there's my own avatar and signature that I'm currently using.
All of the signatures I produce are generally created at the highest resolution I can possibly use, then modified and cropped to an appropriate signature aspect ratio and down-scaled to an appropriate size for the forum they're meant to be used on. All of the appropriate files, including the original resources used to make the signature and a PSD, are downloadable through a folder hosted off of my Mediafire account. Eventually my website when I find the time to develop a simple view for, specifically, signatures and avatars.

Here are three different signatures (one is a copy that's been hued to fit the colours of IBR), 400x150, if you want I can change or remove the included text. An archive containing the PSDs, full-size signatures (Most are more than 1920x1080) and resources used for the signatures can be found below:

Interesting. I would like to have a Kyoya Ootori avatar with a no color theme. (just black and white) Mood would be sad. No text or anything. I'll be happy with anything you do.

I think you need a post count of 10 or 15 to see the buttons, reputation is temporarily disabled anyways.
I use Photoshop in combination with GIMP and Paint.NET.
If you want to get into image manipulation yourself I'd go with GIMP, it's open-source (free) and offers everything Photoshop does if you look around for the right plugins. The only reason I use Photoshop is because I'm so used to the interface. I mainly use Paint.NET for minor tweaks and for a few of it's filters, it performs very well, starts up in seconds.

Some advice - tone down the effects.
Your sigs got too much going on in it. I have no idea what i'm looking at because it's just a messy composition with nothing clear. More effects doesn't equal a better signature (I think everyone goes through a similar stage).
When making the signature think what do i want people to see when they look at it? The anime render is usually the case, so make that clear to see. Less is more.

Renders are images generated from models... very rarely do you find characters that are a product of rendering, most are hand-drawn.
I do like going with simple, as you can see from my own signatures; however, most people I've found disagree with you and I on that style. But, when I make something flashy, even then if you take a look at the PSDs, you'll find that I haven't actually used that many filters, in some cases just one or two to achieve the look I was going for.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it seems more like you're just trying to put off your own subjection into what I create which, sorry to say, isn't going to happen. I work for the requester until they get something they like, when I'm given very general instructions I go for the extremes so I can pinpoint what they're looking for and find a nice balance.
