After this, if you still cannot access the bios, i suggest to contact the manufacturer of your laptop. It's not easy to deal with this things when youare using a laptop, on a desktop everything would have been easier.
Very true. I've tweaked the settings on my HP laptop several times, but every time HP updates the BIOS firmware my changes are undone, and I can't remember what button to push to get back in and change it. At any rate, you might have to flash the BIOS/CMOS chip with an update/reset; but that's definitely something you want to get the manufacturer to help with. Good Luck.

Still can't. I guess my only option will have to bring my laptop to the vendor.... and ask for their help and of course money will be involve. If there is some way to overide the cmos password.

Today i go to the vendor to get my Bios fixed, but instead i were told to buy new one. I really want this laptop but he insist that i buy a new one, lastly he said that to fixed this laptop i need to buy something from his shop for 50 bucks or above plus not included the payment for fixing the laptop. Do you think i should go and just pay the money for something i don't really want?
i really rather buy an anime DVD than buy something i don't really want but i also need to fixed my laptop, really confuse?

Who did you buy this from? They sound like jerks. Try contacting the manufacturer instead, they are more likely to help if you are in warranty. This should take you to the acer support page, just click on your country and look for a "Contact Support" button.
If you are out of warranty, then unplug your laptop and remove the battery; then remove all the covers on the bottom and send us pics of them. We might be able to point out the CMOS battery to you and save you some cash.

if yes: dont do it istead go to a repair service that specializes in porteble divices
if you want to try it yourself, try to download a new version for the bios, it could reset your pasword
