Blinking LED light
0
I have this problem for a while, the charging indicator LED light just blinks (green and orange without pause), and my laptop won't start up.
old post[size=5]-I tried plugging it directly, w/o batteries = still blinking
-I tried it with batteries, w/o plugging it directly = still blinking
-I tried plugging it, and with batteries on = still blinking[/h]
New status
Charge indicator LED light is now steady.
In some case, it will turn on -but without booting.
if it turns on -fan doesn't work when there's no AC being plugged and the battery just sits in there
Now I'm suspecting short circuit inside and the power isn't sufficient enough to be run by only battery
What does it mean?

Is there no reaction at all when you press the power button, or does it sound like it's booting normally but there's no display on the monitor?

Did you check the power lines running from the batteries to the laptop's inner system? (I dunno what it's called). The Battery indicator LED? Changed the battery? tried the battery with another laptop? ARGH!!! I dunno! XD
Trying to up your posts eh?
Also, the battery isn't dropped with the laptop nor it is plugged before the fall.
So that eliminates the AC adaptor/Battery possible problem

EDIT : there's no such thing as power lines inside a laptop.

How old is your laptop? Model? Type?
Search around the internet for similar problems and see if they get resolved. Otherwise bring it in to a local computer shop (never BestBuy) and see if they can tinker around with it. Never pay or purchase anything if you don't know what they're doing.
You can also go to the manufacturer's website for help, but good luck if it's HP or DELL.
