So I bought something from Play-Asia. The package came from China and when it got to be the box was all messed. I opened it and the box holding my figure was also messed. I guess no one cares about packages, do they.
What the crap happened? Do all the stores similar to this one do the same thing?

I buy stuff online all the time. What I learned from buying things online is never ever ever buy aything from china. Ever!!!! I have bought a playstation 2 controller from china. It was suppost to be a official controller, boy was I wrong. It was a knock off instead of what it originaly said and on top of that it didnt even work. #1 rules buying online, DO NOT buy anything from china, they suck donkey dong!

Is there a way to track if a package you're buying comes from China before you actually buy it?

The only places I've dealt with are CDJapan and HLJ. Occasionally the packages get opened in customs, but nothing has ever been damaged.

Well, as everyone are saying you should avoid importing your stuff from china, as it is most likely fake and bad quality.
But I have never had, or heard of anyone, having that problem with play-asia, they're usually great.

Lol, you got to buy straight form those american to japanese sites if you want good sh*t. Problem is the prices are crazy most of the time. That's why I always go back to Taiwan every year to stock up on good stuff for really good prices. They get fresh imports from Japan every month, and they sell for pretty good prices.

Play-Asia is trusted, and you can't blame them blindly, since you don't have proof where the package got "messed up"
I bought once from them, and my package arrived safely without and dent or scratches. the bag is even iron sealed.
It was probably messed up in the transport, or even in the "Customs", since they will forcibly open it to check your package.
don't use Airmail, use FedEx, or DHL for tracking and safety.
Airmails could bust some figures.
point is
China isn't the problem, but which delivery Service is the main problem

Yea I buy a lot of my stuff online and that right there is the truth. Of course you do wanna avoid some products coming from China, like the obvious ones that are fake.

I bought a Pia Carrot figurine from China, but in the ebay description was written that the package would be a little damaged, so i was aware of it and accepted it that way.
I never had problems with packages.

I heard some stories that it could also done by your local customs when the package arrives. There are local customs that are pretty dumb when opening and checking your packages and leaves it in bad conditions.

If I am not wrong, you could always write to Play-Asia enquiring about what happened. Alternatively, you could also check with the mail delivery service.
Not only did you pay for the figure, you also paid for shipping so some decent service is expected. However, I have never bought from Play-Asia so my advice may not entirely relevant.
