Cage The Elephant

Now I am not saying rock music has been shitty between 2000 and now, when recently Cage the Elephant appeared, but what I AM saying is that they are a band that will go down in the future as legends. Cage the Elephant is a complex mix of blues, some southern undertones, and good old fashioned hard rock. The way they play their music, and the underlying theme to songs from them such as Lotus and Tiny Little Robots sets a fire inside that just forces me to keep listening, and I love every minute of it. If you do not know of them, I suggest first listening to their song In One Ear, as it is probably their defining song.

I gotta say that they are my favorite new band. And they sound even better live. I saw them at the DC101 Chili Cook-off and i got punched in the face in the mosh pit during "In One Ear". It was a fucking intense show and i got 6 stitches above my eyebrow to prove it.
