Dangdut

Dangdut is a traditional music from indonesia. born from peasant's way of entertaining themself, now becoming the country people's song

the king of dangdut is Rhoma Irama (cuz he's the first one performing dangdut in USA)

never know that foreign will like dangdut..... well i didn't like dangdut though unless "jatuh bangun aku mengejarmu" song.

roma irama makes the USA rocks for dangdut. he's pretty awesome IMHO

yeah. dangdut seems lame (even for me) but wow, this lame song goes international

I prefer Ridho Rhoma than Rhoma Irama.lol
but,i dont really like dangdut,anyway .

there's only American, Korean, and Japanese music in music section. peoples mostly dont know what dangdut is. and dangdut is more to culture than music

we indonesian pronounce A, I, U, E and O like Japanese do.

A like "a" in apple, or japanese akatsuki
I like "i" in itchy, or japanese itai
u like "u" in "dude". oh no, this doesn't sounds right. well, it's like when   japanese says "uso", get it?
e like English pronunciation for "A". and like e in "endan"
o like "o" in hobo or japanese "ototo"

Ahhh Dangdut..... remind me of my pain serving the guess in a wedding with so many dangdut song are played..... They dance and dance, i have to dance with the to serve the drinks....

Interesting, tee hee... that was really old school. Some dangdut songs can be fun and catchy to listen to but not those that were featured in those vids. Thank goodness, the music stylings of dangdut have really changed over the years. Pity though, that the true traditional music of Indonesia, Keroncong, doesn't get as much recognition.

Don't really like dangdut, but I found out that Rhoma Irama's guitar riffs are awesome!
