Data Recovery Program

Hello, made an accidental format on my previous hard drive as I tried to get my new one installed. Messed up during something called a "RAID". Managed to get something going on my new hard drive at the moment. Would like help from anyone who can provide or point me in a direction to getting a good Data Recovery Program, free if at all possible. Thank you.

That must've been quite a detour you took if you accidentally formatted your drive instead of putting it in RAID.

There is a program called Recuva, as long as you haven't used the drive the files still should be on he drive unless your just very unlucky

Just wanted to say thanks to Tegumi and Cilx for the reply. Turns out luck isn't on my side as I may have made the problems worse before I even posted here for help. Panic tends to do that... live and learn, best anyone can do I suppose. Anyways, thanks again you two. Hopefully I can save up and see if a data recovery center has better luck... that's going to be a very pretty penny... ugh.
