deadmau5 - "album title goes here"

I honestly love this new album from Deadmau5 as I'm listening to it now. I've already listened to a few songs beforehand, but it's still good.



Just a few songs from the album. So, what do you guys think of the new album?

It's a fantasic album, It's highly recommended from me.

Also you forgot The best song (IMHO) from that album.

All the songs are good, but my favorite has to go to October. That song basically dominates all the other ones, in my opinion. It was made back in 2010, but never released. It's similar to other deadmau5 favorites like Strobe.

Yeah, October is a Great song, But lets not argue over what song is better, Lets just get under once hau5 (See what I did thar?) and listen to great music.

But now it is not, But its still online, Its a new version of The Veldt...
AND IT IS AMAZING!!!

It sounds more of a remix, but I think it's even better than the original.

After listening to the album a few times over, I believe the standouts on this album are The Veldt, There might be coffee, and October. These three songs really get stuck in my head, which is good because that's what standouts are supposed to do.

Overall, the album is a 7/10. While having good songs to jam to, some of them I don't care about. It's nice to see that some songs have really nailed his sound, but others (Failbait, Telemiscommunications, Fn Pig) just seem up in the air to me. I don't know whether to like them or not.

I just took all the songs you guys suggested and made a playlist out of them so I could listen to em all while I do work since some of them I haven't heard:

and I heard, "There might be coffee" before, it's on my mp3 player, I liked it. and now im listening to the other songs mentioned above - the vedlt is playing now, and it's good.

To clarify, Deadmau5 mainly produces progressive house music, not DnB. The bpm of DnB is higher (meaning the beats go faster) and relies on bass and drums rather than synthesizers. If you're looking for DnB, then look up bands like Pendulum, Goldie, Netsky, and Nero (DnB and dubstep). Also, use YouTube; there's tons of DnB on there.

I just bought the new CD, got it playing right now, its fucking awesome.


Like beard said, Deadmau5 isnt really considered DnB, though I highly suggest checking out more of his stuff. Ghost n stuff, Strobe, I remember, Some Chords, The Veldt, and professional griefers are my favorites and good ones to start with for Deadmau5. I always suggest Zedd to anyone who likes Deadmau5, hes my favorite house producer, and just released hes first legit cd a few weeks ago.


As for actual DnB, Pendulum is awesome, their album Immersion is a masterpiece
