uh i guess?
i just have a shit load of bookmarked streaming videos which id rather just record and save to my computer (and play through my xbox media center) instead of having to keep going back to the websites to view. i just cant find a program which records both video and audio simultaneously.

Oh do you mean a URL Converter? Because I know of 1 but it only allows up to 100MB.

i have no idea what that is.
i just want something that records whats happening on my desktop. like a web cam recorder (though i will be using it for streaming videos not webcams) that also records the audio.
the best thing ive found so far is debut video capture. it records with pretty good picture quality, no watermark, adjustable size, no memory limits, wmp format. the only problem is theres no sound.

Oh I understand what you mean. I have used a bunch of them but they where all shit, It is almost impossible to find a good working screen capture program without having to pay for it.

If you use Firefox, and don't mind .flv, then you can always use DownloadHelper. It works with most streaming video sites, and it can also be used for images. It should be easy to find in extensions if you want to try it.

Fraps.This.
filler filler filler.
That is for recording games and shit. Streaming and Recording is different thing.
Webcam Max is one, but it requires to be paid to use in fully, trial version will add a stupid text over bla lba and 30 days time.
Spoiler:
For gaming and such recording, FRAPS indeed is fukken awesome.

The approach would be to
I. Download flv video file from sites like YouTube
II. Convert the downloaded file to something for the Windows Media Player (wmv, avi, whatever)
