I've actually been getting into Meshuggah again recently. Not all of their music I like, but I still definitely enjoy a lot of it. Especially the Nothing album. I mention Meshuggah because, like just about all Djent, it's full of DUN DUDUN DUDUN DUDUDUDUUN DUNDUUNNNNNNNN. You know what I mean.
As for Periphery, the main album is great, though I usually stick to the instrumental version. The instruments speak a different voice that the singer can't, and I just like it more I guess. Im into their demos more than anything, though. Misha could easily make like 5 albums off of his demos.
On a slightly related note, Im going to be seeing Animals As Leaders August 1st (my first concert :D). Misha has a role in their album as the drum track composer, so it's definitely got some of his influence in the music, though it's a bit more jazzy than anything since Tosin is the leadman.
