G-Senjou no Maou was my first VN and that opened the world of VNs to my eyes.
Kamidori was glorious and I've preordered the Grisaia Trilogy so I can't wait for that.
Type-Moon is still my god though and I've got Princess Evangile open atm.

Honestly, not a huge fan. The only ones I've played are the Monmusu Quest trilogy and Katawa Shoujo.

Hoshizora no Memoira: Wish Upon a Shooting Star was my very first read. Then I proceeded to Alchemy meister and other greats. It took all my boredom away and a lot of the VNs I've read are either funny or real Tear jerkers. One of the best moments in my life.

Never read any...
But more like I've never had the chance, nor clue on how or where to begin with. I've always been considered a low-tech kind of person, so I feel overwhelmed if I end up with a PC of any kind due to lack of experience and sources to help me on dealing with them. And then there would be the issue of what VN to even begin with. Unlike video games, I don't know what kind of genre would suit me in the world of Visual Novels.
...But seeing that my "first" anime is Air, and after knowing it originated from a VN, then I guess that I could start with that one. I'll have plenty of time to regret or praise it afterwards.
But for now, I guess I'll keep a tab on what priority goes before VNs, since I don't have the privacy to experience them unless there's one on a portable console.

I just finished G-senjou no Maou and I think its good. But I prefer Grisaia no Kajitsu and Hoshizora no Memoria as my favorite VN.

Hentai visual novel I like Cosplay Fetish Academy. As for non-h I like the Zero Escape series. I wish they'd make the third one, but it wont happen. =

Hmm, favorites... Well a lot of my favs are more eroges, like Daibancho: Big Bang Age, or Sengoku Rance... But purely Visual Novel wise, I'd say it's a tie between Fate/Stay Night, 999 (only Zero Escape game I've played so far), and Maji De Watashi Ni Koi Shinasai... Especially the last one, fell rather hard for the girls in Majikoi.

I voted wrong because you said "read visual novels"... I read it as "read light novels" and voted " I've never read one before." :( I've only played two until now. Katawa Shoujo and Nekopara.
