Fakku CDC #4: Gas Planet Creature

Gas Planet Creature
A character or creature that lives on a gas giant. This planet that has no solid earth, only amtosphere. The character or creature needs to have biological traits that allow him to exist in this environment. Technology should not be what allows this character to live on this planet, But can be included maybe in the form of weaponry perhaps.


Rules
  • You must post at least one WIP (Work in Progress) image update

  • No over paints or tracing

  • At least 3/4ths of the entire character must be visible

  • All final designs should be posted before the due date


Guidelines
  • Backgrounds are not necessary but are allowed

  • You may use this thread to post general thumbs and notes for your design

  • Work within the parameters of the design, but be creative

CDC #2: Mage of Legend

Mage with no memory
The subject this week is a chosen one, who is a Mage. Has also lost all knowledge his or her of past memories. He or she is destined to defeat a great evil.

Notes
This weeks design is really open book, hard to go wrong here. I'd like to throw out some personal stuff. The nature of the Amnesia could be caused by said evil, or maybe even self inflicted, experiment with the idea. The timeline is fairly open book so experiment with it. This should allow for good interpretation and variation in design.

CDC #1: Sky Pirate

Sky Pirate
In an alternate Earth zeppelins and blimps fill the skies above us. Our intrepid pirate is a new recruit in a band of thieves. He/she is young and green around the ears but eager to help out. All the action takes place high above so think about what costume and equipment are needed for such feats. It can take place in any time period.

Hindu Elemental
The character or creature encompasses one of the The five mahābhūtas. Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether. This elemental also relates to the symbols and meanings associated with the element.

Woops! yes it was, my bad i was kind of half asleep at the time. I'll probably start posting the CDC on Saturday Morning instead.

WHEW made it! Hello all, here is my mage. Lets see, in the future, mages are hunted down and studied by an unknown organization trying to harness their powers. She was caught and experimented on with the end result of her lossing her left eye, memories and her full powers. Now she is forced to use technology to augement her abilities. this is done by a gun strapped to her head that shoots magically laced powder directly into her brain. It only lasts for a short bit, neccesating so many cartridges. Her old staff is now encassed in a larger, more contemperary one to boost it as well. She seeks revenge on the ones who did this. Pretty weak story, I know!

the gun reloads by hinging upward. When it fires, back of head explodes with magic symbols...

Hello all, way late as always but oh well. I tried making a balloon bug with a human element to it, though thinking about it the evolution of such a creature would never need one.
