Favorite Music To Play

I have been playing guitar for a little over 2 years. I am completely self taught and pretty much just play whatever music i feel like learning. Even though i have moved on to harder songs and more "epic" rifts, I always find myself playing the same songs I've learned years before. They're songs that are so fun that its almost 2nd nature to play and i can't resist.

What are your favorite song(s) to play on your respective instrument.

I Love playing Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas, pretty much any Blink 182 song I know(Which is pretty much every one), Brown Eyed Girl by Van "The Fuckin Man" Morrison and A Day In The Life by The Beatles.

Hmm...

I haven't played another artists tracks in a while.

But when started I used play a lot Meshuggah and Iron Maiden for both bass/guitar.

And that was 6 years ago.

I really like playing songs from Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, Nevermore, and Dream Theater. I'll play some songs from video games I like listening to every now and then, too.

It usually depends on the mood I'm in. I think the song I've played more than any other is All Along the Watchtower, but my favorite to play would probably be
The White Stripes cover of Death Letter Blues.

Old school rocks was a nice choice to have. Bands like White Lion, Bad English, Skid Row, Motley Crue, Guns N' Roses etc had some songs which could be played by common chords.

Beatles and Rolling Stones was also a good one.

Trying on Led Zeppelin's - 'Stairway to Heaven' , Pink Floyd - 'Wish you Were Here', Richard Marx - 'Now and Forever' (nice acoustic), Rush - 'Fly by Night', Dream Theater - 'The Spirit Carries On'. For jazz there's 'Take 5' and 'Blueberry Hill'.
