this is one of my fav recipes
it a bit simple but I really enjoy it
EGG DROP SOUP
4 cups chicken broth/stock
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1-2 green onion, minced
1/4 tsp white pepper (you can use reg. pepper but I perfer this)
salt
few drops of sesame oil (optional)
In a sauce pan, bring the broth or stock to a boil, then add the whit pepper and salt (sesame oil if using). cook about another min.
very slowly pour in the eggs in a steady stream. stir slowly in one direction tell they form ribbons.
garnish with green onoins and serve.
if you BF is ill you can add some fresh ginger to it.
