Final destination 1-5

The Final destination franchise began in the early 2000's, putting it's own spin on the horror genre:

What if you knew how you were going to die, and thus, how to avoid it? Would you cheat death?

Enter the Final destination series, where the main character of the movie has a vision of himself, and the people around him, dying in a horrible accident. He subsequently prevents his and the people around him from dying, thus putting a halt in Death's design. But Death... doesn't like to be cheated.


Death, in this franchise, is quite a vengeful bastard, and doesn't like any missing people from his list, and so he sets out with a new plan to execute the survivors, one-by-one, to complete his quota.
