Getting into some somewhat new music.

I've slowly been trying to listen to listen some new music in comparison to what I usually listen to.
I've recently got into them whole trip hope genre, thanks to some songs by flying lotus (not too sure if he actually is trip hope, but alot of his tracks that I heard were pretty trippy and had a hip-hopish feel to it).
Anyways, im wondering if anyone know of any other artists with a similar feel.
P.S. Been in a bit of a drawing/writing rut lately. Anyone have any instrumentals they could reccomend? Preferably a few with different types of feelings.

Not a fan of that feel...but here are some others in the genre that are pretty popular.
Inertia Creeps - Massive Attack (Teardrop is also great by these guys, theme for House)
Running Up That Hill - Placebo
Gorecki - Lamb
Glory Box - Portishead
Never the Same - Supreme Beings of Leisure
As for instrumentals, I like them with some electronic support.
Pandora (Blizzard Remix) - Mike Foyle
For You - Envio
La Guitarra - Orjan Nilsen

Dumbo Gets Mad
Martina Topley Bird [notably 'Sandpaper Kisses']
Portishead
U.N.K.L.E [bit of a mix though, but they are seen as a triphop group oddly enough]
Mono [noted for 'Life in Mono']
DJ Shadow [Midnight in a Perfect World]
A lot to list really lol
A good start to get a huge palette of bands is through the 'Trip-hop session' series. Most of the collections are a little hard to get. This site has a few of the 'Female Experience' volumes
