Good Cardio ?

Burpees ( I think that's how you spell it), Ummm....dot drill is not bad. Could do something I call a Big 4. Normally it's done on a football field but w/e. It's 100 yrds. of bear crawls, sprint, back-petal, and sidestep. Also can do Uncle Johns. Width-wise across the field, sprint from one side to the other. Once you've reached the other side, sidestep till you reach the next 10 yrd marker, then back-petal.
Just some things to try i guess. Hopefully it was helpful?

Swimming. Sprints are good at getting the heart really pumping but you have to keep going over and over. To really get it going then do a 400 about 16 laps in a regular sized pool 8 in an Olympic sized one. And when I say sprint you should be out of breathe at the end of the lap do Freestyle or Butterfly. And if you wanna work your lungs swim under water and keep going till you think you'll drowned then go some more people don't realize that just because you feel like you're drowning doesn't mean you are. It's just your bodies natural reaction to fight against you because it isn't trained for that. I can hold my breath for almost 3 minutes underwater. Which believe me is a long time when are really trying to concentrate and not mistakenly cough or suck up water.
Lol I rambled well as I said swimming is great for cardio also it'll build some big thigh muscles.
I am actually gonna try and buy some weights to get my speed up.

Swimming and running. Oh. Rowing [erging] if you have a shell or an erg available. Jump rope is really good as well.
Oooohh! I saw one of those training parachutes at Dick's Sporting Goods the other day. I was like Wuuut? They have these now?

Running is one of the best ways to increase your cardio. You want to run at least 20 minutes in order to give your heart a DECENT workout. If you want to challenge yourself set a goal to run a certain amount of miles within a certain set time.

*run 2 miles in 16 mins or less. Increase your rate of speed and aim for 1 min less every week. do so, at your own pace, so you can figure out your rate of breathing, lenght of steps, and acceleration rates. It helps, to know, when to increase and decrease your step to conserve energy for the run.
