If ya care about a free internet please take a few minutes and read and maybe sign up.

The internet (mostly Fakku.net) has eased my social anxiety issues to the point where I'm able to talk to strangers with minimal trouble. I signed this petition with 5 different Email accounts.

I wonder, does this kind of 'petition signing' can do much against something on international scale? I personally don't think so.

Read the link no one could care about it since 'authoritarian regimes' and the three counties being mention has no right to petition except Russia maybe. Plus who do people in a foreign country sign a petition in another country. It's more a notice to the world then a civil disobedience act.
Anyways you can sign an e petition but it does nothing. Only shows there people against something, unless it's a state petition for a ballot pending laws or public annoucment for a proposition pending amendment.

Has worked before but indeed nothing is guarenteed. Just putting the information out there and everyone is free to do with it as they wish.

Fantastic news -- today, people power stopped authoritarian regimes from putting the internet under crazy government control. Empowered by public opposition, dozens of countries refused to sign the ITU treaty -- making it effectively dead. But this won’t be the last threat to our free Internet. Let’s keep signing and sharing to keep up the pressure for an open Internet!
