Help with visual novels resolution

Ok so my problem is when I run most of my visual novels in full screen mode they go to 640x480 resolution rather than my defualt resolution of 1920x1080. They used to run just fine until I installed and ran True Love ~Jun'ai Monogatari~. To try and fix the problem I have uninstalled all of the games that have this problem and then re-installed them. I have also tried running different incompatibility packs for Windows. It did not help, the games that are doing this are Shuffle, Katawa Shoujo, and Kira Kira, Yin-Yang! ~ X-Change Alternative. I have a few game that do not have this problem G-Senjou no Maou, Deardrops and Fate/Stay Night. Any help is greatly appreciated.
