Heiya all of Fakku! Anyone who knows if there are any english subs available to Hitomi Tanaka's films? They seem to contain so much plot and intricate writing and I've a hard time following since I don't understand a word. :( Happy new year to you all!

I think that's impossible lol, I have NEVER seen a translated JAV movie or scene at all. Only closest example if Onna Senka M which is a manga by Izayoi Seishin.

I've always just focused on her titties and not worry about what she's saying. lol

I think I remember seeing a JAV with subtitles on it once somewhere, but my memory's pretty foggy... unfortunately, I wasn't Hitomi Tanaka related, sorry. A lot of JAV doesn't have intricate plots or a whole lot of dialogue, so I don't seen why anyone would put in the time or effort to translate and subtitle any of them. It shouldn't be that hard just to guess at what most of the actors are saying based on context alone.

Haha nah I know it's very hard to find and probably not so hard to guess what they are saying at times. Some of her movies seem to have plot though and for me personally plot/dialogue is often the extra spice that ascends some scenes above the average mass where they just "do it". Ty for the replies!

Oddly, that leads to a favourite writing exercise-- make dialogue for an unsubbed film in a language I don't speak. Put this script aside a while. Come back, write a story around the dialogue.
Er, sorry for the tangent.

Anyway, to each their own but don't we watch porn for the sex? The few times I've bothered to hear what they were saying in English-speaking porn it was just rubbish (though at times the banter between the actors and film crew was funny).

Yeah most of the time the dialogue is crap. But the scenario/setting and build up before and during the scene could make it stand out - for me that is. But I am sure there's someone else out there who is weird. ^^

I actually like some of Hitomi's JAVs because of the situational sex scenes that we get to see sometimes - so don't worry OP, you're not alone. Like those dad x daughter shit or the teacher x student shit out there. Really simple stuff but they're the extra spice I look for sometimes. Unfortunately, I doubt subs exist for much of the videos and even if they do, chances are they're not that great. Not sure how to help you tbh... The best bet is to grab the latest collection which has the oddly-translated titles of some of the JAVs. This can at least help you understand the theme and catch the situations from what you see; from there, you may fill in the rest.
I can understand general Japanese so personally, I haven't had trouble following the plot with most JAVs for a good while, but I can understand why you'd want subtitles.
Also, subs do exist for some shit. I remember a blogsite that used to translate certain game show type JAVs and other rare titles. They're definitely not foreign.
