How to backup files

I'm sorry,but don't even know what's a PC backup is. lol Anyway,does anyone know what a backup feature is,& how do I backup most of my files on my Desktop/Laptop computer?

Get a HDD.

You can store backups locally (on internal HDD), on cloud services or external devices (usb sticks, external hdds or CDs for instance). The choice probably depends on the size of your backup.

There is a backup feature in Windows that works fine.

What are you planning on backing up?

Copy + Paste everything you want saved into some other storage device. There you go, you've made a backup.

get a WD my book and it give you the software for the back up. But it like everyone say, just copy and paste over to another hard drive. Better yet copy and paste then compress the paste files 8D
