I got more excited to adult manga than hentai manga
0
So something changed within me. I feel more super exciting while reading non-h adult manga. When it comes to the sex content, Im always feel super hard and way too excited to the point like when I had my first time sex or when I had my first porn. Hard beat so fast, intense heat and so on. I found something new here. I don't feel something like this when reading hentai, I do still got hard when I found a good stuff but not at this level of excited, well Im probably used to it and already know where its going.
Currently Im reading Jagaaan, Domestic Girlfriend, Gantz, Sun-ken Rock and Minamoto-kun Monogatari.

Perhaps it has something to do with it being more serialized?
Like uh.. you tend to form more of an attachment to the characters you see constant interactions with and therefor it makes it feel more impactful, akin to replicating the feelings you'd have in a real life situation.
I know that while I enjoy my oneshot type of h-manga material. I tend to derive more excitement out of serialized chapters or eroge because I develop a bond with the characters. It more closely emulates how a sexual relationship with someone important to you in real life because you have developed feelings, a bond, for said person.
At least that's my guess. I'm mostly just spouting off. XD

Yesshh That is exactly what I feel. The feeling to get attached to the characters truly makes it different than reading H-manga. Sure there are some H with good plot out there but somehow I fell like a story with H as add on feels more doki-doki rather than the other way around.

Adult genre is focused on adult stuff and it doesn't need to be sexual, but it concern more to the adult life aspect, something like marriage, adult relationships, jobs responsibilities, money etc. I really don't know but CMIIW. Yeah seinen fits more I guess.

It's probably because with hentai you're *expecting* it to happen, and are presented explicit details of the sexual acts, and the payoff is often mostly the same.
With adult manga, sex scenes are prominent but there's often some level of censorship; no genitals for example. So what happens there is you fill in the blanks of what you don't see yourself. The mind is engaged to imagine the details of the activity. You're immersed.
One type of manga I don't like is harem manga that tiptoes around sex without getting into the act. The blueball effect is frustrating. KissXSis is extremely bad for this.

A friend of mine was reading kiss x sis and showed me a chapter where the MC was literally getting his dick sucked in class. They be tiptoeing with lead feet.

Oh aye last I knew they were dipping into more things like fornication and established peeing as a fetish rather than an accident that happened that one time, but that's all it was for the longest time; teasing. I've not heard anything about the series lately, so I assume he still hasn't actually fucked anyone. The actual act of sex.
Might pick it back up at some point, I took a break from it.
