Ideas on "Avatar: The Last Airbender" movie parts

The title does no justice. I have this Idea on how to cut up the series into a 6-part movie, 2 parts for each book.
Book Water, part 1: Starts with 1st episode, ends with the explanation during the summer solstice.
Book Water, part 2: Starts with the Waterbending Scroll/Jet, ends with Book Water season finale
Book Earth, part 1: Starts with the Avatar State/The Cave of Two Lovers/Return to Omashu, ends with The Chase OR The Library.
Book Earth part 2: Starts with The Library OR The Desert, ends with Book Earth season finale
Book Fire, part 1: Starts with The Awakening, ends with The day of Black Sun
Book Fire, part 2: Starts with the Western Air Temple, ends with Book Fire season finale

A good idea, but that would imply a saga so long, for a series that was certainly successful but not THAT much successful, that it would never work out realisticly.
I mean, look at Star Wars. That's a six film saga because it had success at an international scale like never before.
So the idea is a good effort, but it would be more like, two maybe stretch it to three films. Max.
And that's assuming that the first one AND the second one are successful enough to justify their sequel.
The Avatar Movie failed in box office, so they didn't make Avatar: Second Book.
