So it's 5:30 am here , and i thought i might wanna discuss this topic with my new friends^^... Dating in Tunisia , arab countries in general.
So i find myself pretty lost in here , since i'm 23 years old airline pilot student and still never had a serious thing with someone special , because girls my age just wanna get married as soon as possible >_<(3rd world country , getting a husband is the fastest way to have a secure and descent life ) .Most of the ladies here like football and arab justin biebers (yeah we got more than one here -_- '').
Also videogames , manga , anime , book reading ( i read a lot , i mean a lot !!!!) are considered complete childish waste of time , which got me dumped several times by girls who thought of me as an immature f**k who need to grow up.
And i'm half saudi and i assure you dont wanna hear about things in my dads hometown , makka xD ( and no i don't ride camels when i go there ).
Feel free to share your thoughts , advices and ask me all kinds of questions about my miserable lonely life in here ^^

Find someone who shares your interests. Look for a friend and nothing more, and you might find something.

Pretty much, do what everyone says to do.

It's not as easy as it seems...i've been looking for too long now.
I think i might stick with retro rpg games for now .This shit is gone too far that it might depress me someday .

Unless you're really attached to where you are now or obligated in some way, maybe you could try going somewhere else. Is there any place you want to travel to? If a lot of the girls where you are right now think your hobbies are a waste of time and their main interest is marriage, maybe you'll have better luck elsewhere.

Or you can do what I plan to do, stay a bachelor for life with your dominant hand as your faithful lover! Just kidding, kind of...I personally have no desire to date anyone as of yet.

Going somewhere else sounds like a good solution , a long-term one .

To be a bit blunt, I don't think you belong in that culture since you act and think differently. So as you said, going abroad is the 2nd best option rather than sticking it out where you live. Just find someone you're compatible with and have good chemistry. The person doesn't necessarily need to have the same interests as you, just as long as she's fine with what you do and you're fine with what she does everything else will fall in place.

hmm.. I get what you mean by girls wanting to have a secure life.. but even in their opinion that you have a childish interest.. Isn't it more important on how much you earn rather than what you like..(for a secure life..)

That's actually accurate , that's why i think i'm trying my chances somewhere else.

you say youre a pilot student. once you do become one, you get to explore the world more, you get more money and things will get easier.

take it as a hard start but much easier late game experience.

hell, you get stewardes chicks on your plane for gods sake, you can get laid on every city you land on...

only flag i see about this is, most women... want a guy who's 'there'. thats why its a bit hard for soldiers to get lovers too, 'atleast the ones who get deployed overseas a lot'

Anyways, these guys have pretty much hit the point. You should probably find someone outside you're area, explore your options across different lands, and see what other places have to offer. There's a many different cultures out there, and many are open to others hobbies. Check it out, and see what there is.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE as there are many like you. Don't ever 2nd place your self when finding that "Dearest to you". There is nothing worst than "a bad relationship" can accept each others goods and bads.

I understand the Culture thing as my parents are OLD SCHOOL Chinese. LOL.But glad that I'm in the USA in terms of formalities. I kinda the same as you but at a different area. I do suggest moving to a better area that suits your self.

One thing is sure, there's is nothing to fish here.
The road to salvation is pretty much hard , for the reason that i'm going to work in KSA and settle there for sometime.So moving to a more suitable area for me is gonna take a while ^^.
