Is it weird to have two completley different styles?

This around the more realistic level I can reach (she's based of of Hiroko Sato) This is what I aim for for designing characters. The problem is I'm trying to
and then there's this example of my own ogrinal style. Is it normal for styles to look completley different when drawn by the same person? Also I noticed that when I draw something, I'll notice a HUGE flaw later, even days weeks or months later va noticing the mistake right away...
Does this happen to anyone else?

no man it's not weird at all. Practically everything I draw is in a completely different style. And yeah I always look back and see huge flaws with my drawings later. Usually it just means your improving when you look back at old stuff and thinks its not as great.

So if I were to try to make my style consistant for let's say Manga Character concepts, where should I start? Would I have to force learn to make "frames" Consistant? Both of those pics are character sketches for a Visual Novel Im working on with a friend and you can see where consistancy for my design phase is bothering me

hmmm I've never drawn a manga or visual novel before (mainly because I'm not that good) but yeah, you would need to be able to draw the same character multiple times. People would have to recognize the character in a variety of poses and angles. Where to start? I'm not sure. I'm no pro at this but probably with characters sheets.

Thank you, It's a start. So maybe a sheet with just drawing the head with different angels and expressions? I roughly have different body types, wether slender, thick or hard, but the other biggest thing to get through is how to draw men.
With women I can draw out pretty much anything but with men, I sem to draw them too 2d...
