Is Veoh web player safe?

Right what it says on the tin. I scanned it with Malwarebytes before I ran the installer and it claimed it contained a virus, but I've also heard positive reviews about it. I was wondering if anyone here knew for certain whether or not it is safe.

It is does not have a virus. I scanned it with malwarebytes and MSE after installation. Nothing. Are you sure it isn't off a third party web-site?

I'm pretty sure it was the official site, but I've found an alternative, so I couldn't really care less anymore. But I guess you've confirmed the official version is safe, so topic closed.

I'm pretty sure cnet.com has it. They're a good site to get downloads from. If you're skeptical about any other site, cnet is fine since it's an "official" 3rd party.
