its been done before?

Yeah well it's not like we have that much to talk about- everything's been done and done and done, and the internet is not immune to the vicious circle of everlasting regurgitation of "bullshit".

There are new members all the time so even though mr. or mrs. FAKKU Elder with over 9000 posts has seen it all, the new people haven't. Besides people's opinions change all the time so really no topic is exactly identical to its predecessor.

I think boring topics are way worse- the kind where all the replies are EXACTLY the same... at least when a topic is repeated it means people have things to say about it.

(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ OOOOOOOOOOH! Also, if it annoys you that there are topics that have been discussed before then guess what???? YOU can make a BRAND NEW topic! It's a great idea because you actually know what to avoid! Right? It's SPRING, people! Let's be more active and less complainy!

What is your favorite reoccurring topic??? Or do you hate them all? Why? If you were supreme ruler of the universe what would you do about this?


mine are the ones that address sex awkwardly because people get really innovative in their answers. It's not like i'm here all the time- so really it doesn't annoy me...i don't notice it much. I wouldn't change a thing cause this forum is a bundle of sunshine and i lurv it long time ✿*,(*´◕ωâ—•`*)+✿.*

The only time I get upset is when I see requests outside of the requests section made by people who created their profile just to make the thread, as for recurring topics, anything thats posted in IB really as thats the section I frequent the most.

I don't find reoccurring topics annoying, but I could see how, "-person A- bringing up 'why we should go to war with -blank-' (for example) to be logically shot down, to have -Person B- a week/month later, bringing up the same thing, with a continuation every week/month", annoying. Or 20 different topics dedicated to the same thing.

I didn't have much luck the last few times I tried it out, but the search function seems to work for others.

I'd say it would be better to keep everything in one topic, if what people say is important, then what previous people said should also just as important, and not discarded in the back because they were from a "time before now".

OT: Don't have one. Don't hate them. Dunno, I find any social interaction interesting. Trow the title away, I wouldn't be able to make friends with everyone scared s**tless of me.

I don't mind repeat topics or threads, it's just not a big deal to me. I don't have a favorite topic, but I do enjoy it when a user returns to the site and posts something. It's nice to see a familiar"face" again.

There is some times where i feel it's better to make a new thread, than bring one back from the dead...

But still, sometimes it annoys me. There are a lot of reposts, and old old reposts in ib... You learn to not care, and just tell them it's old or they aren't original/ we've all watched it... Meh

Reacurring topics is too petty to get upset about.

Reoccurring threads are annoying, but not so much that I foam at the mouth. If it's done however so that you don't necro a thread, then I'm for it.

Plus, I don't venture into the forums much, so it ain't a problem for me.

I'm gonna attempt to poke the tiger with a stick here and say that if you are tired of seeing the same topics over and over, it might be because you're spending too much time here.

I don't visit Fakku much (or at least when I do, I don't check out the forums) but as far as my experience in other topics goes, its better to repeat conversations with new members than to run out of things to talk about and watching your e-friends losing interest. I particulary remember being in a forum where, every night, we had awesome groups chats until, one by one, we started to disappear like in a horror flick.

Not to say that it's negative to try to get people to talk about new themes but, at the end of the day, it seems like if you are sick of looking at the same topics, it's probably your problem. It'd be like a teacher in class going "Screw this, I've talked about this subject a thousand times in my life"

There's no quitting this life. I'll always be back. But breaks are important cause sometimes people get on my nerves and its better to step down then troll

Usually people are just sort of frank about it but I've never seen somebody get mad about it. If so, as previously stated, that person should take a break. Unless it's a moderator in which case it's kind of their job.

Repeating doesn't really hurt as long as its not literally the exact same thing
