[color=#00FF00]I believe I have a secret admirer, but haven't got much a way to find out. Then I had a thought. "Is it true? You can find out if the girl likes you by the reaction of being stared at by their crush?"

It seems a little hard to believe in my opinion. So I want some answers, especially by women. Does this method work?

Generally someone with a crush on you will avoid eye contact and look away when you look at them and may try to "act natural" but fail.

First thing:
Dude, choose another font colour... that has raped my eyes...

As solid said, we avoid eye contact with strangers, and depending on the person, most people will stare at the person they like, and when they turn, look away awkwardly... That is a little tell.

Well, not so much insane... more so creepy

It can and can't work. It really depends on the way you go about it.
If you've possibly figured out who may possibly be your secret admirer, than try approaching them, if they don't give you eye contact or act a little out of sorts, it sometimes because the girl likes you, and she's trying to cover up her secret.

Although it can always backfire too, don't be too forward or you'll just scare her off.

She may very well not even like you. It could be just a miss understanding, and a scenario that you have congered up in your own mind. In fact she may even hate you, or hold a grudge of some sort.

Well I liked a girl once in about 6th grade. I stared at her and she told the teacher on me. I didn't stop though and guess what I never got her number or a date.

Um, you could ask her? Flirt with her, but light. Tell her you think she's pretty or something.

It's pretty harmless but if she's into you there will be a bigger reaction than 'Thanks...?'
