Keyboard/touchpad problem

Recently I bought a HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC, but every time I press and hold down a key on the keyboard, my touchpad locks. Because I like playing shootergames, it gets really annoying. Is there any way I can get around this?

Buy a mouse.
Update the touch pad drivers.

I don't like using mice. How do I update the driver?

Go on hp.com search your model number and see if their a new driver download for the Synaptics touch pad... i don't like the new functions on the new versions.

I had the same problem. I took mine in to a techy and they fixed it but they also wiped my harddrive. - there were problems with the OS (vista) =x= and I lost all my info. I only asked them to fix the keyboard and had to pay extra for the hd wipe. then they said i would have to pay $50 or more to get all my info back. i told them to just forget that.
I now have a Sony Vaio win7. and Am currently happy with it. the previous laptop was a 1525 Dell.

Is it possible to download older versions?
