Kitchen renovation
0
Okay, so I'm planning to expand my kitchen (current size 5x5 meters) to 10x7 meters. The problem is, I still have no idea on the arrangement of cookwares and shit. Also I need some suggestion on the placement of gas stoves, ovens, cabinets and stuff, as well as what cookwares I should buy. Nevermind the budget, ye can be as frugal as you want.
Any input is much appreciated.

One quick question: Is it worth it to hire a professional advisor on this?Decorator or contractor?

One quick question: Is it worth it to hire a professional advisor on this?Depends on how solid the image in your mind about how the kitchen will look like. And also if you know how to draw plans.
Designing it yourself will always be better since you can ask the input of the wives etc since I'm sure they'll be using it in the end. If experience is anything to go by, it's especially important since you'll be able to take the time to consider their input, explain why some things won't work and how to make it work etc, which will depend heavily on how effectively you communicate your suggestions and the ability of that pro, in the event that you hire one.
In any case, you should try to at least be able to read plans. You really don't want to complain when it's too late to correct anything.
