laptop keeps losing wireless connection

hiii my girlfriends laptop keeps losing wireless connection. what can be done to fix it? please and thank you. by the way she just got laptop on monday.

Are you in one place only or just generally?
Can you check the wifi with another computer or device?
how does the wifi connect?

Its usually cause of interference from other signals like wireless phones and stuff or it could be because you're too far away from the wifi area

Have you checked the signal strength?
Have you installed the latest drivers?
If you have installed the latest drivers, have you tried rolling back the changes?

Is it her network? Or is she leashing the network of someone else?

Or when everything fails, just use the cable :p

ummm its only on this laptop she has problems with.

Wifi card could be the problems.. if you can try another wifi spot like Starbucks and see if it her laptop or the wifi signal. Update the drivers and all esle fail... take it back to the store and get a replacement or they can repair or replace the problem child device.
