Lenovo Andorid Tablets

I've been sort of drooling over these tablets lately and thought I might post here and see what people think about Lenovo's entry into the tablet market. Posting on FAKKU and not lurking also makes me happy =P

I must say these are the only tablets I've really been interested in. Of course, the Lenovo brand automatically gets some bonus points from me. I've had nothing but awesome experiences with them(as my trusty ThinkPad is sitting next to me and has been for 4+ years now.) When Dividends roll around for us Alaskans in just over a month I plan on buying the Thinkpad Tablet. As an artist, the pressure sensitive digitizer pen is a key factor, but all around I think it will fill my needs with a full USB port and such. (great video about it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXFexk6k39M )
Tablets in general haven't really caught my eye. The iPad never got my attention because i'm not the greatest of Apple fans(says the man with a ipod touch that never leaves his side so meh), but I also didn't like the idea of iOS just being scaled up. The other brands of tablets also didn't impress me as most of them were from brands who i wouldn't dare even by a laptop from, much less something like a tablet.
I suppose in the end I'm just a slave to the brands I know and trust, but it's worked so far =P

That's all.This. If you want a tablet that isn't an iPad, the Galaxy Tab is the one to go to. It has better specs than anything else in the tablet market and as a brilliant form factor.
If you have need of a USB port, I suspect you need an ultraportable laptop such as the MacBook Air or the Samsung Series 9 instead of a tablet.

I see nothing that makes the Galaxy Tab stand out over the other android tablets on the market other than specs. witch, i'm guessing you didn't even look at the specs of the Lenovo tablet because they are pretty much the same. And it's form factor is exactly the same as just about any other tablet i've seen: copying the iPad really. The Lenovo tablet is cheaper(correct me if i'm wrong, I didn't look into it as much), has more features AFIK(the pen, netflix certified, and a bunch of IT stuff), and using standard ports. Not a proprietary 30pin connector that limits what i can plug into the thing without buying their connectors. Also, an ultra portable laptop looses all the benefits of having a tablet's features.
Maybe I wasn't clear on my reasoning on wanting the Lenovo tablet and over simplified my self when i posted late last night, but in my eyes, Lenovo is taking things in the right direction with the thinkpad tablet. Or at least thinking outside the bounds placed by Apple. Of course, it really depends on what you need the tablet for. As for me, I'm an artist and web developer. The pen and keyboard folio case are what truly sold this tablet to me. I like the ability to use it as a sketch book and quickly save that info(or any info) to a thumb drive or SD card that I can either hand over to a friend/client/whoever and also take data from them on a format that EVERYONE has. At a meeting with a client, I can pass the thing around with the pen to get input on a design or if I need to quickly play with the CSS of a mock-up site, I can do so right there and then take it off the dock and hand it to the client for a once over. All of this is in one device while with any tablet using a proprietary single connector either requires me to carry around a laptop or a bunch of connectors... Kind of defeats the purpose of having a portable tablet. Also, as a student, the note taking abilities, written or typed, will be very helpful.
I have no desire to have it replace my laptop as it just can't, but, as a very nice alternative to lugging my laptop around everywhere i go, Lenovo get's my vote in this little android tablet "war".
Also, all my long winded ranting aside, i didn't start the thread to have other tablets pointed to without any discussion. I was asking and looking for opinions on Lenovo's push into the market.
