Losing a Piece of Your Model

When I went to Japan, i purchased some Gundam and Code Geass mechs (which were not cheap) from a model shop in Tokyo. I brought them back with me and started to work on them right away. When i was finished with one of the Gundam modles, I looked it over to make sure it looked good when part of the head of the Gundam fell off. I looked everywhere for it and even tore up half my house looking for it... Now the model just doesnt look right and I was so depressed over it for a while. Have you guys ever had the same problem or am I the lone idiot in the world who can't find a single missing part?

A few years ago a hand went missing from my Strike Freedom after my youngest sister's birthday. And I'm missing a piece of the Exia thanks to her fit of rage as well...

those thing's really sucks if it happens.
recently the hand part of my HG Gundam 00 Qan[T] (normal ver) fell of when i knocked it with my laundry.i've searched it and couldn't find it.
luckly i still got Gundam 00 parts from the seven sword ver and because the hand part's the same,i used it to Qan[T].

Hasn't happened enough times to make me rage and create a thread asking if its happened to anyone else in hopes of finding people who share my hatred and rage at the time XD hahaha

but yea, it's only happened like twice for me, I did find the piece in 1 case after about an hour of searching.

It's happened once to me few years ago. It was a b-daman model; I lose a piece of its arm when it fell under bed. Still haven't found that piece until this day.

This happened years back. My brother likes to take out my Gundam and play around with them when I'm not home. Later on realized parts of RX-78 core fighter went missing. I didn't say anything to him but tried looking around for the missing parts. I think he saw me looking unhappy and knows about it. After a few months he got me an Ex-S Gundam as a present which I have been wanted for a while. I guess things turned out pretty well in the end. Silence is golden indeed.

There's also been other cases of parts missing, usually I decided not to display them as it might makes me feel really depressed remembering about the missing parts.

Happens to me often long ago.... Like when I lost 2 very small parts from my HGUC GP01FB.. and other models.. >_>

I haven't lost any pieces yet... I store all the small parts in Ziploc bags.

Just a tip, before u wanna play with ur figurines, do put a small/medium/large cloth, depending on the number of parts on something soft, eg, bed, sofa, then lay the extra accessories on it, this way the parts doesnt roll out and if you drop any of the pieces it'll fall back to the cloth and not disappear ;'(

It works on a suitably sized table too:)

Avoid : Bedside, cupboards, colorful floors and of coz, playing during mealtimes, whenever a piece drops it'll be a pain in the ass to find them

i lost one of landing skids at hyper mega launcher (old MG Zeta). and i didn't know when it lost until i wanted to use it.

Lol, I never lost any part, but I once Lost a "very small" sticker for my HG S Gundam... I was like emo for 3 days, until I realized that it was sticking in the crack of the gunpla lol.

I'm missing my shoulder armor on my deathscyte gundam. It still awesome but it is quite noticeable and it pisses me off. It's one of my favorite gundams and I just stare at it wondering where that piece went.

The heat hawk and the Zaku MG of my Zaku II MSiA was lost when I was building my HG Zaku I. Looks like the parts went together with the used sprue trees.

I never lost anything from any of my models so far. I only had some pieces from some kits broken but nothing superglue can't fix.

The only thing I lost so far were small pieces from my MSIAs and the beam katana hilt from my Robot Damashii Bushido's Ahead. God damn I looked everywhere and I couldn't find the damn thing. Looked right as it dropped on the floor too... I ended up buying a new Bushido's Ahead.

I put together a master gundam about five years ago and almost immediatley lost one of the little knee caps...

Part of the right hand of my gundam blue destiny unit 3 went missing when my mom cleaned my room while I was away for work. I can only put the beam rifle on the left hand and the beam saber on the right hand but since that small piece came missing, I cant have my blue destiny unit 3 hold the beam rifle using 2 hands anymore, I think.

if you loose any parts you and still have the box with you you can order replacement parts from bandai for free but its a one time thing so do it when you loose a lot of parts then order.
