Made a Thing

Came across this page in a manga named "I Beg You" and really wanted to see it in color, so I tried my hand at coloring it in GIMP. Thought I'd post the result here.

A little suggestion.
The colors seem a bit washed out. Maybe upping the contrast a bit would make it look better. Otherwise it's pretty cool.

Thanks for the kind feedback! I think I'll start working on the rest of the pages later today. In reply to some of the comments about the contrast and color, I messed with the hues and saturation a bit and got this:
