Manga Vancouver Meetups?

I'm back in Vancouver for a while - kinda lonely.
Are there any types of meetups or clubs around here in regards to manga/anime?
Just don't want to leave everything in the hands of luck.

I didn't know people did clubs after school. So far, I've just been "Breaking the ice" with everyone I meet.


If you feel like emigrating, I can introduce you to a couple people, Tacoma is a bit of a drive otherwise.
(I haven't even been over the border in five or six years. Could be radically different.)

You're playing shit too safe. Just go out, talk to people, and see what happens. If you fail, that's just the way shit goes.

Tried the Cosplay/Conventions section?

I know some people plan meets there.

If no major event is happening, one can always try the local library's manga section lol... but you might just find children. That or a bookstore/video store.

Start your own club/meetup.

I live in Sweden. If you pay for the trip i might go.
