Minute rice...?

I saw this one in one of the shows in epic meal time.
For all of those who buys this stuff, I just wanna know how this tastes when cooked. What is its texture? Does it really take a minute to cook this?
I'm kinda amazed. I usually cook 3 cups of real rice for 12 minutes.

Like shit since it converted rice which they chemical alter so the water hydrates the grains faster. Rice takes 30 minutes to cook. Fast doesn't equal good.

Just use the normal rice cooker. Most microwave foods are bad for you.
The extra 11 minutes of wait cant be all that bad.

On a camping trip, was forced to use this stuff.
Imagine cooking rice for an extra hour, then proceeding to smush it up. That was the texture.
And yes, it actually takes a minute. Just put the bag into hot water.
And it tastes like it's cardboard box.

If you have never had rice before and don't know how it should be then it is OK.I'm from flip land. We eat rice every day.

The thing about these kinds of foods is that they're meant for people who don't typically cook and a lot of times people of low income purchase these items due to being inexpensive. What people don't typically know is that buying a pound of real rice is just as cheap, you get more and it's healthier.
It's the same thing with instant potatoes. I can get a 10lb bag of potatoes for $4 versus a box of instant potatoes which is full of preservatives and good for one (maybe 2?) dinners.
