rofl holy shat... i watched that fucking show for so dam long. There were cast changes and even a movie in like 1999ish? Tom Servor, Crow, Camboy, Gyspie... fuck.. Joel and Mike. I forget the evil scientist and his henchmans names tho.
I kind of miss that show, though when its all said and done its basically comedy filler over top of a horrid movie... some of which are so bad they are funny themselves.
I wasted a good 2-3 yrs couch time flipping between that show and the Nickelodeon gems (Salute your shorts/PeteN'Pete)...
yeah, those were the days, lol

It makes me sad how few people seem to have grown up with MST3K. Me it was one of my questionable additions to my childhood as far back as I remember... It doesn't help that I watch them nearly daily as well as one of their spiritual (and cast) successor Rifftrax.

Today, it's one of my favorite shows even though I haven't seen more than twenty or so episodes. I wish I've seen more, but they're long and I don't have the time or attention span to sit down and watch it as often as I'd like.
Thankfully, plenty of episodes are streaming on Netflix, and a crapload of clips are on Netflix.
It's a fantastic show. It inspired me to watch a bunch of awful movies and make fun of them MST3K style. I'd consider riffing on horrible movies, video games, anime and music to be one of my favorite hobbies.
